Saturday 16 March
Jen arrived yesterday evening to spend the weekend with us, and this morning we decided to take Daisy to Wimpole Hall, a National Trust property about half an hour away that has a working farm, so we could see the newborn lambs. Daisy had a great time despite the fact that it was a bit wet. We also saw cows, pigs, horses, donkeys, ducks and geese, and in the afternoon while Jen and I went into London to see Matilda the Musical (brilliant, BTW), she and Jon made their own pizzas and ate them for tea. All in all, a great day for everyone :).
Sunday 17 March
Daisy had a birthday party to go to this morning at a local soft play place, so Jen came with us. Here they are taking a break from all that playing for a biscuit and a cuddle.
Monday 18 March
Jen stayed until the end of the day today. Having had a pretty busy weekend so far, we took it easy this morning with a trip to the supermarket, then went to the funfair (our usual soft play place) this afternoon. Daisy was tired out by the time she got back, and Jen snapped this picture of her lying down in the 'boat' for a rest :).
Tuesday 19 March
Jon's Mum made Daisy this beautiful 'quillow' and posted it to us at the end of last week. As its name suggests, it's a quilt that folds away into a cushion-sized pillow. Daisy LOVES it, and so do I!
Wednesday 20 March
So apparently this afternoon was designated 'jigsaw puzzle afternoon'. All of them, at once.
Thursday 21 March
I was trying to get a shot of Daisy screwing her eyes up and putting her hands over her ears, like Huey, Dewey and Louie do in Christmas Mickey when Uncle Scrooge starts playing the bagpipes, but she didn't oblige so this profile is all I got.
Friday 22 March
I took Daisy to Daddy's yesterday evening for the weekend and spent all day today cleaning and tidying the house so I don't have any pictures, but here's an interesting one. This is a picture of Daisy taken at the farm last weekend, and one of her taken at the end of March 2012, and one taken at the end of March 2011. My baby's getting big!
